Join us for a special evening celebrating film and community! On September 5th, be among the first to see the earliest known Asian American Film, The Oath of the Sword, at the Southern U.S. Premiere.

The 1914 film was discovered and restored in 2023 and will be shown for one night only at Zilker Botanical Garden this fall. Since its discovery, this film has been viewed publicly a mere handful of times including screenings at Harvard University and the Smithsonian as well as a premiere at the San Diego Asian Film Festival.
