Join us for a conversation and book signing with Jeff Yang, author of The Golden Screen: The Movies That Made Asian America followed by a screening of the indie hit Yellow Rose.

Jeff Yang is a producer, screenwriter, New York Times bestselling author and culture critic based in Los Angeles. He is currently a columnist for CNN Opinion, a regular on NPR’s Pop Culture Happy Hour and cohost of the podcast They Call Us Bruce with Phil Yu. He has been a columnist for the Village Voice, the San Francisco Chronicle, the Wall Street Journal, and a contributor to a wide range of publications. He was screenwriter of the acclaimed indie feature A GREAT DIVIDE and has authored dozens of books, including Jackie Chan’s autobiography I AM JACKIE CHAN, and most recently the bestsellers RISE and THE GOLDEN.
