Austin PBS is awarding one documentary filmmaker $15,000 for assistance with repackaging for public media distribution. The grant provides $12,000 for film repackaging and $3,000 for attending a public media conference in the fall.

Eligibility Requirements:
I have a completed documentary project that was made in the last five years and needs support getting to the finish line.
I do not have any rights agreements that would prohibit the project from being released in the public media landscape for a minimum licensing period of three years.
I can ensure my film will be cut down to one-hour (60 minutes) for public television.
Either a) I live in Central Texas OR b) the project is set in Central Texas.
I reviewed the grant booklet in detail and if I receive this grant, I am prepared to abide by the timeline of delivering my final project to Austin PBS for distribution by September 1st, 2025.
