It is an amazing time for Filipino films! 2023 is ending with some historic movements in Philippine cinema. This December, two Filipinx feature films (one horror thriller from the UK and a documentary from Texas) are being released widely in theaters and on streaming, and a Filipino-Ilocano rotoscope animated film (which is our official entry to the 96th Academy Awards) has entered Variety's Oscar Predictions for the first time.

PJ Raval's latest documentary WHO WE BECOME will launch on Netflix on December 1st, distributed by Ava DuVernay's ARRAY Releasing.

Carl Joseph E. Papa's THE MISSING is the Philippines' official submission for Best International Feature Film at the 96th Academy Awards and was ranked 23rd in Variety's Oscar Predictions, a first for Philippine cinema. They are fundraising this month for their Oscar campaign and need our help.
